POLICIES

All Goldhenn pieces are handmade and one-of-a-kind. Due to the nature of hand craftsmanship and natural variation in stones, made-to-order and custom items will be similar to, but never exactly identical to, pieces shown.

CUSTOM WORK

Custom pieces follow the process outlined on the Work With Me page: a complimentary consultation, a design phase (20% of the agreed budget), creation (40% upon design approval), and delivery (final 40% upon completion).

The design payment is non-refundable; it reflects the real work of concepting, revision, and stone sourcing. The creation payment becomes non-refundable once materials are purchased, as stones and precious metals are bought specifically for your piece. Because every custom piece is made uniquely for you, custom work is final sale.

All designs, sketches, and renderings remain the intellectual property of Goldhenn unless design rights are purchased separately. Design buyouts are available and quoted individually.

TIMELINES

Custom pieces require a minimum of 4 to 6 weeks from design approval; complexity and stone sourcing can extend this. If you are working toward a specific date, share it at the start and the schedule will be built around it. When necessary, compressed timelines may be accommodated; rush projects incur additional fees that scale with the deadline.

READY-MADE PIECES

Ready-made pieces are currently available by inquiry. Each is one-of-a-kind and sold as described; please ask any questions before purchase, as sales of one-of-a-kind pieces are final. If a piece arrives damaged in transit, contact me within 48 hours of delivery and we will make it right.

REPAIRS & WARRANY

I stand behind my work. Goldhenn pieces are guaranteed to be free of defects in material and craftsmanship for one year from the date of purchase; if a piece is determined to be defective, it will be repaired or replaced. Repairs resulting from normal wear, accident, or alteration by another jeweler are assessed case by case at reasonable cost. Write to meaghan@goldhenn.com with photos and the story of what happened, and we will go from there.

SHIPPING

All pieces ship fully insured with tracking and signature required. Local delivery or in-person handoff can be arranged. International shipping is available; duties and taxes are the responsibility of the recipient.

CARING FOR YOUR PIECE

You have purchased delicate, handmade, high-quality jewelry; treated with proper care, it will be enjoyed for many years. Put jewelry on last, after dressing and applying hair and makeup products, and take it off first. Avoid wearing your piece during strenuous activity, in water (showering, swimming, hot tubs), near harsh chemicals such as chlorine bleach, or within reach of small children.

Some pieces carry a blackened finish achieved with an oxidizing agent; with time and wear this color may lighten, which is a natural process. Precious metals naturally tarnish with time and wear, some more than others; humidity, chemicals, and the natural oils of your skin can accelerate this. A soft cloth keeps gold and silver bright, and storing pieces individually prevents stones and metal from wearing against each other. If your piece ever needs professional attention, bring it home to me first.
